Tutorial Glitter M&M's - challenge
It’s been a while since I’ve uploaded a tutorial/
seriously, it feels like it’s been ages!
January 2012 is over and done and after counting the
votes for the readers make-up challenge the winner picture and theme were…
The M&M’s picture and Glitter theme
I wanted to do an extreme look, but the thing is I failed
completely. I could not manage to get any extreme look.
After several attempts of priming, blending, removing,
glitters, lipsticks, eyeliner….
I came with this creation. I use the colors of the
M&M pictures and added the glitter to finish it off.
Check it out!

Video: Smokey Eyes Tutorial
A
couple of months ago I got the request to do a smokey eye tutorial on dark skin
tone. I’ve been postponing this for I don’t know how long. I did made a
tutorial then, but wasn’t that happy with the results.
After
lots of applying, blending, wiping off and doing it all over again, I finally
came out with two different smokey eye looks: a softer one and a dramatic one.
This
next tutorial is of the dramatic one. For this look I’ve used my Sleek ‘Oh SoSpecial’ palette since I noticed that I never did any look or tutorial with
this palette, which also is one of my favorite palettes.
The
softer smokey eye tutorial will be uploaded at the end of this week.
Anyway,
enough chit-chat. Here’s the tutorial! Enjoy!

Halloween look: The Silent Glitter Zombie
Happy Monday and also a Happy Halloween!
Halloween is the holiday that’s known for trick-or-treating,
pumpkin carving, costumes and candies!!! But in the beauty world it’s also the
holiday where everyone gets wild and make the most awesome Halloween inspired
tutorials!
I never grew up celebrating Halloween, wasn’t much
into it. But still I get so fascinated with all the make-up looks.
For this year Halloween I wasn’t that much inspired
though until last Saturday night where I suddenly got this idea to make a
simple zombie look.

A gracious tutorial
It’s not very often that I get inspiration out of an everyday thing or any magazine look. Usually I play with the colors, look which ones to combine with and then create my own looks.
But some weeks ago when visiting my family in Maastricht I came across a Dutch ‘Grazia’ and it had a real cool look that just knew that I had to remake.
So I did and today I’m sharing my tutorial on this colorful yet simple and fresh look.
The model in the magazine had a nice fresh face without any heavy make-up on. So I also went for the same and tried to keep it as fresh as possible.
This look would be great for a midsummer afternoon on the beach or for a festival.
If you can’t see this video, click here.

Spring nails nails nails
Hiya Dollies!
This is such a beautiful day! I’m so happy, because it’s my mommy’s B-day! She’s celebrating with all her loved ones –minus me- there on the beautiful island of Curacao. I sooo wish I could be there with her to celebrate. But that’s how life goes; you can’t always be where you want to be. But she knows that I’m there, in her hart! Love her to death!
So as you all know its spring. And while sitting at home and looking to my nails I thought that they looked kind of dull and was in big need of some spring color on them. So I went through my nail polish stash to see what color I had for my nails.

Block that Color on your eyes!
Remember last week I posted an article about the new spring fashion trend Color Blocking? Well, I went on a trip called experiment and did a Color Blocking look!
All those bright colors together. I thought if you can wear it; why not make a make-up look out of it?! So I got inspired by this Gucci SS2011 collection outfit.
Am I making you curious to see how it came out? Then click to see more…

Bronze on the eyes and Red on the lips – The Rihanna Vogue look
Rise & shine, Dollz!!! It’s a beautiful Sunny Sunday, the first day of spring! So get out of your bed and your PJ’s and enjoy every bit of this joyfull day!
It’s been almost two weeks since I posted a make-up look. Due to the lack of inspiration & time. It’s so that I wanted to do a celebrity look, but not one that most of bloggers have already done. I wanted to do a different one.
So I went searching…searching…and searching. And finally I came across the April issue cover of the Vogue magazine. The cover-girl is no one other than the lovely Rihanna. She’s rockin’ a great mermaid-ish look with neutral/ bronzy eyes with some red hot lips that goes along with her fiery hair. I thought immediately ‘This is it!’
Do you want to know how my look came out, then keep on reading for more.
