As the days passes by I start to realize that there’s an artist in every one of us. Either if it’s a musician, film maker, a beauty artist as in a makeup artist and also an art artist.

Art. When you hear the word art the first things that jump in our head are paper, white canvas, paints, colors and mostly creativity. But in the beauty world we skip the canvas and paper part and create art on our own face. And along with that creativity there’s a lot of talent.

A couple of days ago during my bloglovin reading I came across this talented girl named Katie Alves who has one of the most incredible works I’ve ever seen. I immediately contact her asking for her permission to use her pictures - which I got - so I can share them with you all. Because she deserves the sharing.

Be aware that this post is going to be picture heavy, since it was pretty difficult choosing ;)

Good day my precious!

It’s another day with another video.

Shopping outside of your country is always fun. You get to see and buy products that you’ve never known or that’s difficult to get in your own country.

Last week I went along with Lara & Vanya of beauty blog “Make-up and More” and also her sister Dani to CentrO, this big mall in Oberhausen, Germany.

As the girls that we are, we did some great shopping and enjoy our day there while having lots of fun.

And today - a week later - I have my shoplog for y’all of all the stuff that I bought.

Silk Fashion & Business Spring Event + video

It’s been awhile since I posted something about fashion. And yes fashion IS still a fascination of mine. Only hadn’t the time for it with all the beauty stuff around me.

So as compensation today I have my recap on a whole fashion show for you.

Last week I got an invitation for the Fashion & Business Spring Event held by Silk Pr, Events & Models. It was hosted by the girls of “Mode Meisjes met een Missie” – which means “Fashion Girls on a Mission”.

Before I go on about the Fashion & Business Spring Event, let me fill you all in about these three fashion and also so down to business ladies and their show.

Enchantra's Sleek Swatched Day and Boughts

Happy Friday peopleee!!!

As some of you already read on twitter, I went to the Enchantra showroom last Wednesday for the Sleek Swatched Day. The owner Linda, which is the sweetest and coolest person ever held this swatched day for bloggers and beauty lovers to come and try out and take pictures for their blogs.

The showroom is in Kapelle which was almost a 2 hour drive, but I still managed to suck it up and drive there. And finally it was all well worth it!

Besides the swatchalicious, we could also buy anything we wanted. And so here I am with a shoplog for you all. So keep your eyes rolling for more.

My Fellow Native Bloggers

It’s been almost six months ago that I started with this blog. And even though some time due to lack of time I can’t post daily, I still love my time blogging and interacting with all the readers and also my fellow bloggers.

As you all know, I’m born and raised on the beautiful island Curacao. Currently I’m living in Holland and speak most of the time Dutch. I blog in English but I still speak my native language ‘Papiamento’ every day.

Like I already said I’m quit new to the blogging seen. Blogging has been here for years now and no matter your interest, there’s a blog out there for you to read. But blogging hasn’t been as popular on our little island. And there’s not many Curacao bloggers out there.  

Recently some of my fellow bloggers have been putting the spotlight on others so their readers can get to know them better. And then I thought that it’s time to turn the spotlight and focus on them. But not as any other blogger, but as my lovely native Curacao bloggers! So for today I’m going introduce you to 4 of those few Curacao bloggers out there.
